Abstract: We report on the detection and observations of cataclysmic variables (CVs) and related objects by IBIS and OMC onboard INTEGRAL. We present the images of two magnetic CVs detected in the 15–40 keV passband of IBIS, V2400 Oph and V1223 Sgr. We conclude that in general the most promising CVs to be detected by INTEGRAL in hard X-rays appear to be polars and intermediate polars (IP). Especially those IPs which undergo dwarf nova-type outbursts (e.g. GK Per) appear to be very good targets among CVs. We also include an example of the OMC light curve of RS Oph with rapid variations with the mean cycle-length of about 30 min. We find that the amplitude decreases with decreasing cycle-length during this observation.
