Abstract: Absolute accelerometry is a technique developed by P. Connes (1985) to detect small radial-velocity changes. We observed Procyon with a preliminary version of the Absolute Astronomical Accelerometer (AAA) coupled with the spectrograph ELODIE at the 193 cm telescope of the Observatoire de Haute Provence (France) during 8 nights December 97-January 98. Here, we present results of a search for solar-like oscillations in Procyon and the performance of the AAA for asteroseismology.
