Abstract: Asteroseismology has successfully been applied to our Sun, white dwarfs, Cepheids and a few other classes of variable stars. Through asteroseismology we can discern internal conditions of stars. The successful application of asteroseismology depends on the determination of the pulsation spherical harmonics. In this paper, we investigate pulsating stars in close binaries as a useful tool for identifying pulsation modes.
