Abstract: The Polarisation Sky Survey of the Universe's Magnetism will measure Faraday rotation towards three million distant galaxies, dramatically improving our understanding of cosmic magnetism. Polarisation observations are multi-dimensional and require advanced techniques to tease out reliable scientific results. Here we present a prototype analysis pipeline intended to facilitate quality control during observations and create a robust and timely polarisation catalogue. The software makes use of techniques such as rotation measure synthesis and Bayesian model fitting to characterise polarisation properties. The pipeline code is freely available online and is flexible enough to be used with data from many telescopes.
