Abstract: We have compared the results of a simulation of cosmological reionization to observations of high redshift galaxies. In the simulation stars alone are sufficient to reionize the universe at a redshift consistent with that of the Gunn-Peterson trough seen in the absorption spectra of QSOs. We have compared luminosities, colors, mass-to-light ratios, surface brightnesses, and angular sizes. The varied star formation histories that the simulation provides prove important in understanding the observations in the context of reionization.
