Abstract: We have analyzed the apparent distribution of flare stars near the center of the Pleiades cluster, relying upon membership probabilities derived from proper motions. The observed distribution of flare stars in the cluster does not appear to be changed significantly with membership probability: the apparent densities of both: ``members'' and ``non-members'' decrease with distance from the center of the cluster. We present additional arguments which testify that the overwhelming majority of flare stars observed in the Pleiades region (more than 90%) are members of the cluster.
