| Abstract: |
We present the results of an iron ka emission line analysis of the asc data of 23 mCVs. We have determined the mass of the white dwarf in nine intermediate polars, which show reasonable agreement with previous X-ray work. We have also found that the iron abundance of mCVs is generally sub-solar. Its distribution probably peaks somewhere in the range 0.2-0.6 solar. |
