Abstract: A new approach for the simultaneous determination of the distance and kinematic parameters as well as their dispersions in a moving cluster is applied to the Pleiades cluster. We have obtained that the distance of the cluster is 135.56±0.72 pc with the dispersion 7.66±0.80 pc, its space velocity V=25.94±0.13 km/s, with the dispersion 0.58±0.09 km/s, and the coordinates of the convergent point are (A,D)=(6h47m24s±2m00s, - 41o23'24''±17'24'').
