Abstract: We perform a numerical simulation of a coronal mass ejection and an associated X-ray arcade. Based on the numerical results, we synthesize theoretical images taken with XRT and EIS aboard Solar-B, and discuss how reconnection inflow and slow shocks would be observed with XRT and EIS. The mechanism of dimming is also discussed.
