Abstract: Recent studies of OH megamasers help to characterize the nuclear properties of ultra-luminous infrared galaxies (ULIRGs). Dense molecular disks may be seen in the OH emission data. The nuclear activity may be classified in terms of starburst- and AGN-dominated power sources. Line emission data of high-density molecular tracers help to interpret the evolutionary phases of ULIRGs.
