| Abstract: |
The ESO VLT, VLTI, VST and VISTA complex built on Paranal will ultimately provide a suite of more than 20 facility instruments. This covers a parameter space combining a large wavelength domain (350 nm to 20 μm), spectral resolutions up to 100,000, image resolutions from seeing limited down to 1 mas, and multiplex factors up to several hundreds. |
