Abstract: We report on our search for lithium-6 in the atmospheres of late-F and early-G stars. Lithium-6 is a strong test of the self-enrichment explanation offered to account for the high metallicities of stars with planets, because it is not expected to survive the pre-main sequence phase in metal-rich sun-like stars. In brief, we did not find any evidence for lithium-6 in the atmospheres of any stars with planets or otherwise similar comparison stars.
