Abstract: We used very deep near-infrared imaging data taken with Subaru/MOIRCS in the MOIRCS Deep Survey (MODS) to investigate the number counts of distant red galaxies (DRGs) down to KVega = 23. We also performed the broad-band SED fitting analysis of galaxies at 2 < z < 4 with the combination of MOIRCS and publicly available data from HST/ACS and Spitzer/IRAC to estimate the stellar mass, stellar age, and dust extinction of these galaxies.
