Abstract: In numerical studies of classical bulge formation and evolution, it is crucial to use a technique where the chemical and dynamical evolution of a system with a typical size of 2 kpc can be jointly followed in a cosmological context. However, this requirement is hard to fulfill (see Martínez-Serrano et al., 2008). Therefore, numerical simulations on bulge formation are scarce by the moment. Here we report on first results where such joint analyses have been performed with satisfactory results.
