| Abstract: |
We calculated the mass distributions and luminosity functions for the 3577
DAs and 191 DBs with S/N ≥ 15 Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 7 spectra.
We also calculated the mean mass for the 521 magnetic DAs. We find a
substantial larger mean mass for DBs than DAs, and an even larger mean
mass for magnetic DAs. We also found the DA and DB mass
distributions have different shapes. Finally, we estimated the luminosity function separately
for high and low mass DAs. |
