Abstract: The international conference Multi-Spin Galaxies, held at the Astronomical Observatory of Capodimonte, Naples, from September 30th to October 3rd, 2013, hosted an art competition for children of the primary schools of Naples and Caserta. They were asked to create an artistic product inspired to the theme Shapes and Colors of Galaxies. They were allowed to use any type of painting (e.g., crayons, watercolors, and pencils) or sculpture technique (e.g., clay, construction, and poor recyclable material) to express their manual skills and imagination about the most popular science among children: Astronomy.
