Abstract: In order to keep LISA conferences relevant and worthwhile for astronomy librarians, we must ensure that the conference topics, structure, and frequency match the expectations and needs of the community. In order to find out how LISA VII participants envision future LISA meetings, a discussion was held at the end of the conference in Naples. After a brief introduction about the background of LISA meetings, colleagues representing specific groups were asked to provide a short statement on their views of the conference, and how they think the series should continue. The representatives included experienced LISA participants, first-time attendees, and colleagues who are also active in other library-related professional groups. Afterwards, the discussion was opened to the entire audience, inviting everyone to share their views and suggestions. We complement this session report with summaries of opinions expressed through a survey which was emailed to all LISA VII attendees after the conference, in which colleagues were invited to add further comments and ideas.
