Abstract: The eight element Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Array and the 10-meter off-axis South Pole telescope are new instruments designed to pursue cosmology through measurements of the Cosmic Microwave Background. This contribution summarizes their scientific motivation and provides brief instrument overviews and status reports.
