Abstract: We present preliminary results of magnetic field measurements in the 1 Monocerotis. 1 Mon is a multiperiodic, high amplitude δ Scuti type star, showing a total pulsation amplitude of ∼ 0.4 mag and three pulsation periods of P1 = 0.136 d, P2 = 0.134 d, P3 = 0.139 d. The spectropolarimetric observations of 1 Mon were obtained during three nights in 2007 using the fiber-fed BOES échelle spectrometer of the 1.8-m telescope of the Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory. We report about detection of weak magnetic field, variable from –58±8 Gs to +48±8 Gs during the pulsation period.
