Abstract: We studied the polarized spectrum of the post-AGB binary system 89 Herculis using spectropolarimetric data collected with the Catania Astrophysical Observatory Spectropolarimeter. We discovered the existence of linear polarization in the metal absorption lines (as a global trend). Stokes Q and U signals are characterized by complex morphologies varying in time. These signals might be evidences of resonance polarization, and could be ascribed to the anisotropy of the radiation field, induced by the dynamics of the system.
