Abstract: Eclipse outreach often necessitates crafting presentations that simultaneously engage all members of a mixed-age audience, including children. In addition, presentations to school groups (especially lower grades) must simultaneously educate and entertain children by meeting them where they are both cognitively and emotionally. A stuffed rabbit named BB (introduced to the audience as an avid and seasoned eclipse viewer) became the centerpiece of such outreach as a means of engaging children with the important topic of safe eclipse viewing techniques.
