Abstract: |
Euclid is an ESA mission aimed at studying the dark Universe.
Its Science Ground Segment will deal with around 175 PB of data to produce a catalog containing the description of around ten billion objects with hundreds of attributes each.
The scientific software is written by hundreds of developers distribited all around Europe and the USA, and is deployed to nine computing centers.
Scientific Challenges were introduced to integrate iteratively and incrementally the science pipelines and to test integration at system level.
This paper provides a critical view on the processes and tools set up to run Euclid Scientific Challenges. |
