Abstract: |
The current largest all-sky NIR survey is 2MASS, which has a depth of
Ks = 14.3 mag and
a seeing of 2.5″, which does not match the current optical surveys well.
Combining VISTA and WFCAM Public Survey data into a single all-sky survey will
cover > 90% of the sky to a depth of K∼18.2 mag in the wide area surveys,
and with a typical seeing of ∼0.9″. However, the data from these
surveys is extremely heterogeneous. |
