Abstract: |
Detection of Epoch of Reionization (EoR) signal by measuring the redshifted 21-cm emission line is a key science project of the LOFAR radio telescope. This requires highly accurate signal (data) processing as well as ‘big data' High Performance Computing (HPC) on more than thousand hours of astronomical observations. We describe our HPC environment and its integration with the data storage and management system which are essential for efficiently carrying out this long term project. |
