Abstract: |
We present a description of the data reduction pipeline for FIFI-LS, the mid-infrared integral field spectrograph on board the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). We discuss the various data reduction steps and algorithms implemented in the pipeline, including ramp fitting, chop-nod subtraction, wavelength and spatial calibrations, telluric correction, flux calibration, and wavelength and spatial resampling onto a regular grid to generate a 3-dimensional data cube. The pipeline is written in Python and can be run automatically or manually. |
