Abstract: A Science Platform is an environment providing advanced functionality to analyse and process large and complex data-sets close to the data. Science platforms allow users and projects to bring their customised processing to the data and facilitate sharing of results and workflows with other researchers or projects. Building such a platform and make them interoperable to move towards data science, poses substantial technological challenges. This BoF session was aimed at discussing those challenges involving data centres, computing centres or astrophysical projects.
