Abstract: We present a simple model and hierarchical framework to use RR Lyrae to explore the overall 3D geometry of the Sagittarius dSph core. We use the Gaia DR2 RRab catalog to measure the projected properties of this stellar population combined with the 3D positions of Sagitarius RR Lyrae in the OGLE IV Bulge catalog to infer the 3D distribution of RR Lyrae in the galaxy via nested sampling. A prolate triaxial model is found to provide a best fit, where we can place constraints on the axis ratios and the inclination out of the plane of the sky. This result has important implications for understanding the progenitor of Sagittarius and its matter distribution.
