Abstract: The incorporation of Virtual Reality (VR) in the classroom supports immersive exploration of astrophysical concepts that are difficult to visualise. We will present Mission Gravity, a classroom program in which students collaborate to create models of stellar evolution by collecting and analysing data from virtual trips to stars. Participants will learn the pedagogical and technological design of the program and take part in an interactive, remotely-delivered version of the program developed in response to the transition to remote learning. All digital resources are free for classroom use.
