After two decades of operations, the Chandra X-ray Observatory has continued to produce engaging images for the public. In this paper, we focus on one particular target, The Milky Way center. Over the years, Sagittarius A* and the broader Galactic Center have played a large role in Chandra’s public release materials. In this paper, we explore the releases of these objects as a case study to review how Chandra data has been presented to the public over time. |
