Abstract: The challenge of increasing numbers of satellites in low Earth orbit, their brightness and radio interference fuel the need to communicate with students, the general public, indigenous communities, policymakers, government officials, astronomers and the space industry, among others. What are the best means to do that? What should science educators and communicators do? How should they prepare? The communication strategies of the new IAU Center for the Protection for the Dark and Quiet Sky from Satellite Constellation Interference (IAU CPS) are being designed in part to address these questions. Each of the four hubs, SatHub (observations, data repository, software and the training therein), the Policy Hub, the Industry and Technology Hub, and the Community Engagement Hub have aspects of messages and methods that require working with the global science education and communications community. Please join us in this presentation and interactive discussion.
