Abstract: During the COVID pandemic restrictions, we have all had to make considerable adjustments to how we share our astronomy education. In this session, I will share how I made use of computer software and a digital eyepiece with a USB-out in order to both teach my college classes and also to present to the public and school groups a substitute for a planetarium show experience and even to do telescopic observing! I will show how I have used Stellarium software and an inexpensive digital eyepiece (Orion's Starshoot USB Eyepiece II) to display and screen-share (via Zoom) a desktop planetarium show and live stargazing of the Winter Solstice 2020 conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn! I was able to share views of this event to Zoom users via the internet from Seattle to Louisiana, and Boston to Arizona and California. Some of these patrons related that they were only able to view the event via my Zoom link, as it was cloudy in their respective locations and they had no other resource that they were aware of.
