Abstract: We are developing a planetarium program to motivate audiences towards actions that address light pollution in their community. Light pollution has a detrimental effect on humans and wildlife, reduces our ability to share in astronomical observations, and limits our shared relationship with the night sky. As part of this work, we are grappling with how to successfully use stories to motivate audiences towards action on light pollution in their community.
