Abstract: It has been an unanswered question whether the spin vectors of galaxies is random or shows any regularity. Since the galactic spin is measurable by its spiral pattern as all the spiral arms are trailing, a catalog of galaxies with apparent spiral pattern information is useful for the galactic spin study. We matched images of galaxies in PanSTARRS DR2 and redshift data by SDSS and HyperLEDA to construct a redshift-limited galaxy image catalog. During the cross-matching of the catalogs, we noticed that some galaxy spectra at z∼0 in SDSS are contaminated by foreground objects. After the correction of the redshift, we classified the galaxies in z<0.05 into Z-wise, S-wise, and uncertain by visual inspection, and cataloged 22533 Z-wise and 22362 S-wise galaxies. The statistical model of the dipole strength of the spin distribution of galaxies when using data in partly uncovered spherical region is also presented.
