Abstract: The High Energy Neutron Detector (HEND) onboard 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft is capable of detecting cosmic gamma-ray bursts, soft gamma repeaters and solar flare. We present the instrument concept, ground-based data processing and contribution to IPN.
