Abstract: An examination is conducted of areas of stellar evolution where Magellanic Cloud research is currently active, emphasizing stars less massive than about 10 solar masses. Attention is given to convective overshoot, initial mass functions, Magellanic Cloud abundances, distance moduli, and final asymptotic giant branch evolution. The SMC, due to its thickness in the line-of-sight, is not as useful as the LMC for the comparison of observed magnitudes with theoretical calculations.
