Abstract: The TAURUS Fabry--Perot interferometer was used to simultaneously map the spatial and spectral distribution of Hβ ionized gas in the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151. The H ii regions show, in the form of sudden changes in velocity, the existence of predicted streaming shocks close to the leading edge of the oval bar.
