Abstract: We present the first results of an ambitious work still in progress. We are modeling the light distribution of a large sample (∼ 10000) of cluster galaxies from the WINGS survey as single Sérsic or bulge plus disk systems. Our classification scheme is based on a logical filter that takes advantage of well-known characteristics of these two kinds of objects. We finally expect to shed some light on the influence of environmental effects on the structure of cluster galaxies and investigate its dependence on various cluster properties (e.g., cluster mass, degree of substructure, local galaxy density...)
