Abstract:	Maser studies where VSOP-2 can make its strongest impact involve proper motion measurements. In this talk I review outstanding issues in topics ranging from star forming regions to active galactic nuclei in which VSOP-2 proper motion measurements offer the promise of seminal contributions.
