Abstract: We present results of observations with the high-speed photo-polarimeter OPTIMA. In particular, we show high precision optical polarization measurements of the Crab pulsar with an unprecedented time resolution of 67 μs. The high photon counts allow us to identify very fine features in the degree and angle of linear polarization as a function of pulsar rotational phase. The optical data show surprising correlations with the phase structure at radio frequency. Additionally, we present preliminary polarimetric observations of the host star of the transiting planet TrES-3 as a function of its orbital phase.
