| Abstract: |
We present AusVODownload, a java-based software tool which allows astronomers to access virtual observatory (VO) resources such as cone search, SIAP and SSA from existing astronomy tools. The tool can also be used as a stand-alone application driven entirely through a command-line interface. We outline the need for such a tool as well as presenting some common use cases. The architecture and design is outlined with particular reference to the online resources used such as registries and SIAP/cone search servers. |
