Paper: Impact of 5-minute Oscillation on my Career

Abstract: Detailed comparison of Deubner's epoch-making observation with calculations of nonradial nonadiabatic oscillations led to a rapid progress of the seismological study of the Sun. Nearly 50 years has passed since Leighton and his collaborators discovered 5-minute oscillation of the Sun in 1962. I present an inside story on our calculation of nonadiabatic nonradial oscillations of the Sun, and also the brief trace of my career.
