Abstract: We present the first, preliminary results from our ongoing survey of galaxies residing in Abell 520 (z=0.2), a cluster in the process of formation at the crossing of three large-scale structure filaments. We use spectroscopy for 682 galaxies, 317 of which reside within the cluster, to search for signs of transformation in the galaxies in this extreme environment. We apply classical definitions of local and global environment to find that both contribute to the quenching of star-formation as measured by the fraction of galaxies with emission lines.
