| Abstract: |
This BoF discussed the state in our field how our students learn
”Astro Computing”, arguably an evolving term. You can wonder
if learning it in trenches during a research project, or
internship, was this sufficient? Would an undergraduate class have
helped? Should we also consider an advanced graduate style class? We
describe an implementation of an undergraduate computing course and
motivate how this can be beneficial for graduate students also. |
