Abstract: The preparation of the optical fiber feed for the radial velocity spectrometer of the Lunar and Planetery Laboratory of the University of Arizona is described together with the fiber's characteristics and test results. With this fiber feed, estimates of errors of Doppler shift were found to be from 3 to 30 m/sec, depending on the exposure level, exposure time, spectral type, and the time scale over which the observations were being compared. Solar-type stars of only about 5.5 blue magnitudes could be observed.
