| Abstract: |
Cosmological N-body simulations are analyzed and orbital parameters (i.e., eccentricity and pericenter distance) of minor merger events are determined, as well as the frequency of minor merger events. We find that the frequency of minor mergers peaks at z ∼ 0:85. For the majority of cases minor mergers have parabolic orbits with low pericenter distances. |
