Abstract: We present results from a statistical kinematic analysis of 525 field horizontal branch (FHB) stars in the Galactic halo. Values for the systemic rotation and velocity ellipsoid indicate the halo is composed of at least two components. The inner halo is found to be flattened and in prograde rotation while the outer halo is more spherical and in counter-rotation. This latter result suggests that the outer halo formed through the accretion of Galactic satellites.
