Abstract: I explore the plausibility of the premise that the entire Galactic halo may have formed via the accretion of dwarf spheroidal-like galaxies similar to those observed today. This exercise is based on comparisons of the stellar populations, the variable stars, the globular clusters, and the dark matter content of these dwarf galaxies and the halo.
