Abstract: At least two, massive stellar clusters (the Arches and Quintuplet clusters) reside within the vicinity of the famous Radio Arc region near the GC. In this paper, I discuss the ways in which these clusters influence the surrounding interstellar environment: the ionization of and relationship to the molecular clouds near the Radio Arc, the mass-loss from their stellar winds, and the associated X-ray emission. This region of the GC, in particular, serves to illustrate the detailed relationships which are likely to occur in the centers of many actively star-forming galaxies.
