The differences between NLTE plane parallel and spherically symmetric model atmospheres for different stellar types found earlier are summarized. In addition, new results for simple model atmospheres of B stars are presented. The need to calculate spherically symmetric model atmospheres instead of plane parallel ones is emphasized. |
