Abstract: |
The double-pulsar system PSR J0737−3039 offers a unique opportunity to probe the magnetospheric processes in pulsars. The pulse emission from PSR J0737−3039B, the younger and slower of the two pulsars, is strongly modulated as a function of orbital phase. Short eclipses of the A pulsar emission are also observed. Progress on understanding these phenomena poses substantial observational and theoretical challenges. |
